Perioperative Nursing Care for Patients with Lung Cancer Undergoing Total Pneumonectomy

Objectives: To explore the perioperative nursing care for lung cancer patients undergoing total pneumonectomy, and to promote their rehabilitation. Methods: We will provide preoperative assessment education in aspects of respiratory function, diet, psychology continuous postoperative management about posture, fluid, help diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma underwent pneumonectomy reduce complications improve overall quality life. Results: 78.9% who achieved a better outcome prognosis by receiving above program. Conclusion: With large tumors, surgical trauma is highly invasive resection extensive. Management patient’s tract focus key preventing development related complications.
